Us: prescription painkiller addiction turning into crisis

The recreational use of opioids is claiming a growing number of lives across the United States. The introduction of a new drug called fentanyl is pushing the crisis to a new level.

The yearly overdose death rate has triple in the past 10 years...

Yearly Deaths from Overdoses (2015)

Marijuana : 0

Prescription drugs : 20,101

Heroin : 12,990

Cocaine : 7,000

Alcohol : 2,200

It's incredibly obvious that Marijuana does not belong in the same category as heroin and prescription pain medicine. Alcohol is more dangerous than alcohol.
